About

I’m a 30-something first time mother. I’ve been married to my husband since 2003. We have one dog, two cats, and a small boy-child who has us wrapped around his every move. It took us 6+ years to get pregnant with him. These are my ramblings, starting just after we started trying to get pregnant and constantly running. I don’t update often, but I DO update. Add me to your reader, check in with me periodically. Leave me comments – it’s lonely out in the real world, and I like to know when people have come by. If you have a blog, and I don’t have the link, let me know so I can add you in!

  1. I took a brief look at your blog and these are my thoughts so far, it is your story and you can tell it however you like but it seems more like a journal. The reason I bring this up is because a journal is very hard to comment on. You can keep doing what you are doing but give us a reason to comment (if you want comments that is). Add a call to action, something that gets people to comment. Ask what are our thoughts on that particular post/idea, etc, or if we have any personal experiences with this post. If you want us a part of your life, ask us. The kind of people that you want to comment on your blog often need an invitation. The trolls will comment regardless. I would have liked to have emailed this to you but I couldn’t find a way. Feel free to delete if you would prefer. I mean no disrespect, just offering some ideas based upon other blogs that I follow.

  2. Hi. I came across your blog from Keiko’s blog over at Team Zoll. I’ve been following her blog for sometime and commented under you earlier today. Periodically I’m nosey and you had a link to your recent post, “I remember” so I took a look.

What caught my attention was your tagline, Reflections on learning to parent after infertility, and your journey to motherhood. I just wanted to share my blog with you. I’m still in the process of TTC. I, too, had hoped to email you but couldn’t find a way so thought I’d leave a comment. You mentioned you wanted others to share their blogs with you so I figured I would. I’m so happy you have your son. I hope I’m as fortunate this time around.

    • Nice to meet you, Robin! I know I don’t have much in my about section, and I don’t have my email for privacy reasons, but comments DO get emailed to me. 🙂
